​One of the biggest errors I see in my evaluations is when an event marketing campaign skips essential blocks and leaps to the expectation of revenue working with a cold market. Yes, we'll get there, but we want to OPTIMIZE those results, not just get any results. Secondly, most customer experience maps only show what's next when they follow the journey AS planned, but what about nurturing redirect the opportunity instead of loosing it all together!
Marketing is TYPICALLY considered at as an expense, even on every P&L and deduction form, right?! When we look at a full event cycle and identify and fix any broken links THAT'S when my clients see results. All of a sudden their perspective is changed to Marketing is a profitable INVESTMENT. ​Marketing goes well beyond advertising and promoting which is Block #1.

is it a lead generation problem, or a conversion problem? 

​We all remember the classic playground game of hopscotch, and no one liked the kid that would throw the stone and LEAP or SKIP over all the blocks - "THAT'S NOT HOW YOU PLAY!". It didn't take long before no one wanted to play with that kid anymore. If no one is asking to do business with you, it may be time to learn a new way to play.

Identifying and converting the ideal target audience into sales is the answer to increase revenue, BUT how?! These 15 steps are my unique process with my event marketing cycle that converts into results. A marketing funnel is different from a sales funnel, and an outreach funnel is different from a nurture funnel.

​Typically, less than 5% of people are ready to move forward with your product or service immediately. This is why cold outreach marketing tactics have low conversion rates. I started my career in logistical event planning, but shifted my focus to event marketing through my experience in corporate america.  ​When the company I worked for expanded, they opened a Business to Business division with a heavy emphasize on outside sales, event marketing and in person connection.

​I was promoted to develop and manage the new division's marketing department and 
my marketing AND events skills continued to grow each year - hence the business name Emenee Marketing 'n' Events! 
​Within 3 years, the division grew Nationwide, produced an average of $250M in monthly production and supported over 300 positions. With over 65 outside sales positions attending and sponsoring events to build human-to-human relationships, my main focus was evaluating event worthiness and creating a pre, during and post event campaign to maximize our ROI.
