TURNING 30 I wanted to share what I do every year for my birthday. Some people don't like their birthday or think it's another year older. I look forward to my birthday every year because I reflect on where I am and where I want to be. You can make changes any time, but my birthday is a time I give myself a personal reality check - every year.
Here are the 3 things I do every year to celebrate my birthday...
I've had a great birthday! Thank you for all the special birthday wishes and everyone that celebrated with me! Every birthday I reflect on my year and revisit my short term and long term goals!
TURNING 30: My goal was to leave corporate america by age 30 and DEFINE MY OWN POTENTIAL. I reached my goal a few years early, but I recently found some clarity in my business and have been working on something awesome. Today on my 30th birthday I'm excited to start sharing how Emenee Marketing 'n' Events has scaled out and teach other event planners the process I use with my clients that took me from event planner to event strategist. It took awhile to figure out my niche, but companies no longer view my services and their event budget as an expense, but an investment to generate revenue. I'm working my ideal events and attracting my ideal clients guiding them through the entire event cycle: strategy, logistics, networking/outreach, nurturing, sales and metrics. I see competition everywhere and within our industry it's toxic. I strive on seeing others succeed so instead I choose to work with other event planners. I don't teach event planners how to be better event planners, how to book more events, or how to become an event planner. My process shows them how to scale their business by booking high ticket events and extending their value beyond logistics in the entire event cycle. I love birthdays and am grateful to have another ride around the sun! #lifeofMnM
